I'm a geology lover who spends a lot of time outdoors. I like to party and get money. I love horseback riding, i own a horse named Khatrina I have been riding horses since i was 10 years old. I have been all over the country riding and showing horses. When I am outdoors I like to go fishing, camping, hiking, and running.

I'm slightly tomboyish in the fact that I enjoy hiking, camping and being outdoors. I don't mind getting dirty. While I enjoy being active and outdoorsy, I am also content spending the day inside with a good book, movie or craft project.

I tend to randomly get dolled up for no reason other than that I felt like wearing high heels and makeup. I am equally comfortable in high heels and dresses as I am in ratty jeans and one of my brothers' t-shirts. (Its not often that I'll wear makeup so if you're looking for one of those girls that is high-maintenance, frilly and such, you'll have better luck with someone else.)

I LOVE to dance. I am often found singing and dancing around my apartment even without music on.

I'm not a cook! I live a lot like a bachelor, live mostly from the microwave, but from time to time I can bake, I actually love to bake choc. chip cookies and keep some around for people droppin in. Least favorite thing to do though is grocery shop! I'll eat nothing for a week to avoid it, lol.

I'm also a major klutz, but laugh at myself everytime. God did not give me grace when it comes to movement and balance. Though I've been told my words are graceful when I actually think about what I'm saying. But catch me on a tired day then I tend to get foot in mouth disease, which at times is hilarious and other times... not so much. This is very much an inherited trait. I blame the Scot side of the family because they all seem to follow this trait.

I'm a sucker for animals and kids and they always seem to figure it out instantly. Damn them!

I have a huge sense of humor and laugh most things off. I definately have a serious side and enjoy deep conversations too. I'm super easy going and most of the time just roll with the punches.

I love to go to the beaches here in Washington a lot, one of my favorite places to go and think actually. I absolutely love to travel! Completely addicted, I would say a lot of my spare change goes to the traveling. Only area I haven't seen much of yet in the US is the East Coast, soon as i finish seeing over there I'll move to outside the US. My ultimate dream is to backpack in Europe for a month! Italy and Greece here I come!

I have no idea how the elephant icon ended up in 'My Personality Awards'. The elephant, extremely cute though it is, is supposed to represent the identification of "More Republican" traits in my answers to various questions.

OKCupid says that people who are 'more republican' tend to "favor economically permissive, socially restrictive politics" - I'll admit to being economically permissive in some areas the less your economic activity affects others the less regulated your economic activity should usually be, but I deeply doubt that my support of gay and lesbian rights, my pacifistic opposition to war, my advocacy of environmental justice, racial justice, and economic justice, fit their assumed meaning of 'socially restrictive politics'.

The OKCupid description goes on to say that people labeled 'More Republican' are often "more wealthy and more religious than the average user". They do note that "this is a relative measure, so being more republican just means you're more republican than people your age and gender in your area". Being wealthy, or even wealthier than most people my age and gender in my area would be really really nice, but as a graduate student looking for work...it is a description that does not fit me.

The other part of the description fits me even less. I am an atheist, and I am an atheist because I have no experience whatsoever of 'God', despite lots of reading and lots of time spent in the company of many kinds of religious people. Religion clearly means a lot to many people, but to me it is only another sort of social group â?? although one with some very strange stories to tell. Sort of a short-cut to a 'sense of wonder', not as durable as studying physics, biology, and language, but somewhat effective if you do not question the shibboleths.

Hey Im a college student and will be graduating in Spring. I have decided to get a BS instead of BA so it will be taking a little longer then I thought. I am preparing for applying to grad schools. the grad schools Im applying to are UNLV and TSU san marcos, and I will hopingly get in and be moving to either vegas or san marcos. I'm a post bac English Ed major who one day would like to teach a unified curriculum to secondary students. I do a lot of volunteer work for Scouting and my church. If you are struggling and open about it that is one thing, but I do not have much tolerance for GQ, manpurses, and Inside Edition. I am a big believer in autonomy.

Was married for 17 1/2 years and have two great children from it; boy 14, girl 11. I was In the US Army after graduating HS. I later got out of the Army and went to college. I graduated with a 4-year degree in Social Work with a minor in Women's Studies...yes, you read that right. Dean's list all four years, inducted into the college's Honor Society, and graduated with honors. I later was invited to apply for the job that I currently have and the rest is history.

I've lived all around the world. 3 yrs in Germany, twice. 2 yrs in Korea. total of just under 3 yrs in Southwest Asia (Saudi, Kuwait, Iraq). From the East coast, South, and West coast. I have a very severe case of TOURETTE SYNDROME. I am currently composing a book on Tourettes Syndrome. This book will possess extremely comprehensive extrapolations of the neurological, physical, biochemical, psychological effects of Tourettes and extensive narrations on all these multiple states of Tourettes Syndrome. I also deeply investigate upon the general micro-sociology mechanics and interwoven aspects of ALL these states that are related to the vast dimensionality of what Tourettes Syndrome embodies.... I am eager to gather questions of ANY kind or nature for the concluding chapter of my book. This chapter will be a QUESTION and ANSWER section intended to further educated the reader with very candid insights into this terribly misunderstood disorder.

BTW... to save the question I get most often... YES, I DO CURSE INVOLUNTARILY!! I have very extreme VOCAL TICS of many types... For the record ONLY about 7-10 Percent of people with Tourettes even have these vocal tics... I am one of the lucky ones... see you already know a fact about Tourettes that is ALWAYS misunderstood and if the topic ever happens to come up you now can correct somebody and get to feel intellectual superior... sweet huh?

Tourettes is a Neurological Movement Disorder mostly, it is GENETIC BTW and NOT a Psychiatric disorder and has chemical mechanics in the brain very akin to schizophrenia... Tourettes produces mainly Motor Tics, I for example have very violent and severe Motor tics which can look like intense seizures every few seconds to minutes...

I think if you want to really get better at things you have to work hard at it. You also have to be very positive in everything you do, even in really bad situations. Because you will make that situation worse if you are negative about it.

I'm very shy to start out with but once i know you i'll talk your head off. I have all kind of intrests and could talk for hours about anything from politics to video games to random cancelled tv shows that no one ever saw i'm a dork like that, I can just about get along with anyone, once we connect I'm very easy going laid back and up for anything, but still know when to be serious.
I'm a dork at hart and not really ashamed of that so hope to find someone who can be herself and i'll try my best to be myself.

Income... I make enough to have a mortgage, pay my bills, and put away a little each month. Other than that you shouldn't be overly concerned with my income.

I'd like to build custom furniture and work in ceramics and metal work... all for home furnishings for a living (Long term goal, I'm working on it but still need my 9-5 for now.) Alternative careers would be owning a bowling alley, coffee shop, breakfast joint, pizza place, or pool hall.

I'm an east coast transplant, but have been out west for more than a decade now. I've lived in both Portland and Seattle. I've also lived in NY state. I really miss lightning bugs, don't seem to have too many out here. My family is still there, and despite being far away from them, we get along great. Family is very important to me.

I enjoy the little things in life...
